Fayetteville, NC — March 17, 2020— In these uncertain times, Action Pathways Second Harvest Food Bank is doing its part to ensure the health and safety of the community. The Food Bank will be hosting a drive-thru food drive to collect canned goods, dry goods and hygiene products for children and families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The drive-thru food drive will take place on Friday, March 20th in the parking lot of Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeastern NC from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Second Harvest Food Bank is located at 406 Deep Creek Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina.

“More so now than ever, people are stepping up in significant ways to serve their communities and I just wanted to do my part”, said Action Pathways Board Member Chancer McLaughlin who is organizing the food drive with help from Cumulus Radio.

Some of the most needed items for this food drive are canned fruits, veggies, meat, beans and soup; cereal, whole grain pasta, peanut butter, hygiene items, household items, paper products and items for infants, kids and seniors.
