Second Harvest Food Bank Invites Participation in 30th Annual CROP Hunger Walk

The Fayetteville/Cumberland County CROP Hunger Walk is celebrating its 30th year of bringing the community together. An initiative to fight food insecurity, CROP Hunger Walks launched around the country further the mission of Church World Service - which fights to end hunger through grassroots efforts around the world. Each year, faith-based groups, businesses, schools, organizations and residents unite to raise funds that are used to minimize hunger impacting global and local communities. The Fayetteville/Cumberland County CROP Hunger Walk raises funds to benefit Action Pathways Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina (SHFB).

 

The CROP Hunger Walk will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Evans Metropolitan AME Zion Church, located at 301 N Cool Spring St, Fayetteville, NC 28301.

2PM - Registration and Activities are at 
3PM  - Step off for the 1 Mile and 5K (3.1 miles)
4:15-4:45PM - Special after Walk Activities


SHFB started a team to participate in the CROP Walk. Register to join Team Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina and begin recruiting your friends and family!
